SWDb Spaghetti Western Hall of Fame

I vote for LUIGI PISTILLI

Good choice, Scherp, but you can still vote for two more persons!

i think he knows that

Yeah, but I’m curious to see for which people he will vote, the “competition” for the 4th and 5th place is pretty tight! The suspense is killing me! ;D

I took Pistilli because I absolutely want to have him in the hall of fame. He’s my favourite supporting actor (probably even more than Kinski)
To avoid this risk in the future I propose the introduction of a fixed number for the following categories:

leading actors, directors 16 (or 18)
actresses 20
supporting actors 32
That is a good idea and I have already thought about this. However, I don’t think its such a bad thing if in 10 years from now we run out of people to induct. If that time comes we will simply just stop voting and deem the HOF as finally complete and will be around for people to enjoy for years to come.

Thanks for your vote Scherp. There’s nothing wrong with voting for just one person, as the rules state you can vote up to 3. Although I don’t think voting for two others will take away from Pistilli’s votes, as he’s one of the leaders so far.

Ah ok, a strategic one vote! But yeah, the only person with more vote than Pistilli is Anthony, his place in the Hall is pretty much assured by now.

A question for you Col., what happens if there is one or many ties for the fifth place?

In that case we’ll have a traditional shootout

I guess in case of a tie I will have to induct 6 people, or perhaps 4. But preferably 6. I rather be inclusive than exclusive.

By the way, how do you guys like the nomination voting system this year? Yay or nay?

In previous years we simply voted for whoever we liked in each category. This year we chose from a pre-nominated pool of candidates. Which system do you guys prefer?

My votes are for:

Richard Harrison, Luigi Pistilli and Frank Brana

Tough choice though. The nominees were all very strong contenders I think. I wanted to vote for Questi as I love his work but, to be honest, I find it difficult as he only ever made one western. As for the new process, I much prefer it to the old and think we should keep it going forward.

Never voted before, but felt the urge this year. So I guess I must prefer this years system for whatever reason  .

I prefer this system, gives you a nice ‘Oscar feeling’

The result should be announced on You Tube, with envelopes, guests, drums in crescendo … and the winner is …

My thought too

I too prefer this years voting system.

Tomorrow is the last day to vote. If you haven’t voted already nows your chance.

Additional vote from my part: Tony Anthony (I was a bit too harsh on Blindman, and Tony’s Stranger is an essential SW character, so he deserves his place)

I’m not voting, I’m trusting you guys make the best choices

Shit already changed my mind. Suddenly felt a strong desire to participate in the democratic process and all that, what the hell if everybody’s voting

Here it goes from the El topo juri

Tony Anthony (for all the naked ladies and proper use of a shotgun)
Jose Calvo (great Iberian actor, so a little help to nuestros hermanos from the other side of the border)
Guiseppe Vari (always liked Deguyeo)

My votes.

Leading actors: Robert Woods
Supporting actors: Rick Boyd
