A quick note for voters.
Be careful choosing from the lists below as there are a number of names there who are already in the Hall. Just check before voting.
OK, Iāll be first up for this round of voting.
Leading actors: Richard Harrison, Anthony Ghidra
Supporting actors: Horst Frank, Roberto Camardiel
Actresses: Diana Lorys
Directors: Romolo Guerrieri, Joaquin Luis Romero Marchent
Composers: Gianni Ferrio
Producers, Cinematographers, Writers, Non-participants: Carlo Simi, Francisco Marin
Most of these choices were simple for me as they were in my original vote last year but didnāt make the first cut. All should have been of course in my opinion but Carlo Simiās exclusion was a particular travesty of justice for me as his magnificent sets, costumes and western town of El Paso have become so iconic. Anyway, reasons for most of these choices can be found back on about page 5 or 6 of this thread but for the new ones it is simply that Ferrio produced a whole bunch of great scores for some very successful films and Anthony Ghidra is just so god damned cool.
I have to say also that I am not so sure that 2 picks from the Producers, cinematographers etc category is a great idea when we only have 1 for the composers. We all know how influential the music of these films are on their initial impact and continued popularity so for me they deserve as much weight as the other lesser categories combined. Just my 2 cents.
Looking forward to seeing others votes.
Just a suggestion:
Why not have a nomination round with the top 5 vote getters going into the election round where we pick one from each catagory?
This should be an honor and not just an avenue to fill up the Hall of Fame.
Iām saying they should give us our own street in Rome or Berlin. With a star for the winner in every Hall Of Fame Category ;).
Leading actors: Anthony Ghidra, Richard Harrison
Supporting actors: Francisco Brana, Peter Matell
Actresses: Diana Lorys
Directors: Alfonso Balcazar, Joaquin Luis Romero Marchent
Composers: Michele Lacarenza
Producers, Cinematographers, Writers, Non-participants: Carlo Simi, William Connolly

Iām open to anything at this point. Sounds good like a good idea. But this is pretty much equivalent to having two rounds of voting. Weāll see what happens with the results. I will use your idea if the current one round voting doesnāt quite work out.

My vote:
Leading actors: Robert Woods, Henry Fonda
Supporting actors: Jack Palance, Gianni Rizzo
Actresses: Vonetta McGee
Directors: Giancarlo Santi, Edoardo Mulargia
Composers: Alessandro Alessandroni
Producers, Cinematographers, Writers, Non-participants: Alex Cox, Arrigo Colombo & Giorgio Papi
You can only choose 2 out of these four categories.
Here are my picks:
Leading Actors: Henry Fonda, Bud Spencer
Supporting Actors: Luigi Pistilli, Horst Frank
Actresses: Rada Rassimov
Directors: Giuseppe Colizzi, Sergio Garrone
Composer: Vasco and Mancuso
Others: Carlo Carlini, Howard Hughes
I tried to be as objective as possible. For example, I am not a fan of Colizzi, I donāt like his films at all, but I voted for him last year and Iām voting for him again this year because I think he deserves it. I hope others follow my example and not choose their favorites but really choose who they believe truly deserves it.
Yes, but Arrigo Colombo and Giorgio Papi were a producer team who produced A Fistful of Dollars and other Spaghetti Westerns. Like Yin and Yang, itās hard to imagine one without the other.
I think Iāll put them together on the ballet then, like Vasco and Mancuso
Okay, thanks.
