SWDb Games and Quizzes

I’m opening this new topic because I don’t think there are any existing ones regarding how to increase the audience and therefore donations to support the project, nor to discuss possible casual video games or quizzes specifically made for/by SWDb.

The idea is to create casual games and quizzes using the large SWDb database with the following goals:

  • to extend the user base to less involved users
  • to consequently increase the possible donations to support the project
  • to spread information in a playful way

The games should be simple and easily translatable, with the contribution of the editors.
One day they could also be transformed into a mobile application to further extend the audience.

I therefore invite you to send suggestions and ideas for simple games and quizzes, since they should be easy to implement and manage.

My first contribution is a memory game that I just finished. There is still a little something to fix and obviously the logos and interface images need to be revised.

Sorry for the bar at the bottom, but I preferred to use a free hosting.
I hope you enjoy it.

In a few days I will start to understand how to set up the quiz software.
The idea is to make HTML5+CSS3+JS games that run in any browser and device, without using external libraries or resources that complicate management, hosting and maintenance.

please PM me with the requirements, obviously I have hosting and these things surely don’t take much space or performance

This is a fantastic idea, amico!

A very good score. It would be nice to have a centralized ranking system for all games. But that’s a lot of complexity.

Just played. 195/43.
The last time I’ ve played memory was when our children were young, long time ago!
