:film_strip: New around the SWDb:
With just very slight delay, this recap reaches you smack dab in the mittle of a busy late spring for the SWDb, with so many home video releases being announced and reviewed, and us working behind the scenes on improving info in the database, reviewing movies, and so forth. Thanks at this point to all those who have contacted us with missing DVD information, rare links, posters, and much more. The SWDb relies on its community. YOU are the SWDb, so thanks and keep sending us information and corrections to be included in the website.

:dvd: New and upcoming discs:
There are already some super interesting titles lined up for June and much later. But let’s look back first. The new relases in April were

Here of course of special interest the standard release of The Great Silence, an Anthony Steffen title from Explosive Media, two new books, the gazillionth Spencer/Hill box in Germany, an itneresting HD release of the 80s oddity Arrapaho and a few more things.
And in May we can look forward to

Another Explosive Media title, the two eagerly awaited 4K releases of the Dollars movies, then there’s an overdue French HD release of Red Sun, some DVD releases in Italy and some other rarities. Very big splash was the announcement of Koch films of a new series which starts on May 5th and can be pre-ordered. Also, the first BluRay releases of Tornatore’s Ennio Morricone documentary are hitting the shelves…More news is in the bushes, we can feel it. Happy shopping. More titles are added to the Calendar almost daily.
