I would also say that the fact this thread had lain dormant for 10 years shows we’ve all pretty much moved on from complaining about Weisser or his book. There have been much better books published since then which make his one unimportant now.

@RamMcD, you’ve been here for, what is it, five posts now? And all I’m seeing is you angrily getting at the forum membership (those who were here a decade or so ago, anyway) for fuck-knows-what ancient, dead-and-buried reason. Is there any chance at all you can maybe start again, adopt a slightly friendlier tone? Maybe be a bit less combative and aggressively challenging? Perhaps use a few less phrases such as “petty jealousy, posturing & a compulsion for bitching from many”, “The cumulative effect is a case of sour grapes”, “So where is the list of corrections, as everyone had so much passion & time to slag off TW inaccuracies”, “lynch mob mentality", and “petty… bitching, moaning & wrath”? Have a go at reading the room, mate, and don’t go getting quite so animated and excited out of the clear blue sky, especially about ten-year-old forum threads (Phil was entirely right, this discussion was long dead and didn’t require a redundant agitator).
We welcome lively debate here for sure, but I’ve absolutely no time or patience for attitude such as you’ve displayed in your short time here thus far.

I’m not arguing with you. I’m not addressing the “POINTS” you’ve made - I’m not especially interested in adding to this thread, as indeed neither has anyone in a decade - because I’m addressing the manner in which you’re making them. You’re abrupt, patronising and rude. I’d live with you being abrupt, I’d even handle you being patronising up to a point if it was clear you weren’t aware you were doing it and clearly meant no harm, but I’m not interested in anyone being rude on here. Make your argument WITHOUT the attitude by all means. Nobody else on this forum behaves in this manner, and neither will you. Further abusive posts will be deleted.
