Spaghetti Western Photo Story Magazines
soren and yodlaf do you guys have a certain place on ebay were you guys buy from?
Not really just search, the first time i found some i just wrote in “spaghetti western”, didn’t even know they existed, after i knew i wrote the names of the magazines in

thank you mr. peterson

Like Yodlaf says just search for the magazines … Do notice though that it isn’t all of the magazines that contain SW photo novels. Some of them are photo novels of plain boring old American westerns

Do you mean the same mags have Yank films amonst the issues or different ones?

Yes… The majority are spaghetti westerns though. Have only encountered a couple of handfulls I think. The rest have been juciy spaghetti westerns

I went through some comic shops when I was in Lyon last autumn, but I didn’t see any of them mags. There are interesting titles among your list, Søren. I should really try to get hold of some of those mags to improve my French.

just how juicy are they?
i emailed the guy in france and they seem to expensive, when ever you decid to sell the ones you don’t want just pm me and i will try to pay you a decint price
this also goes applys to you yodalf

There’s liquid running down the pages… Now that’s juicy.

I only try to buy the ones I miss in my collection so the only way I’m going to get stuff I don’t want if is I buy a lot where I already have some of them. Your best bet is still to keep checking www.ebay.fr … There may not be anything this week but maybe next week. I have actually not kept a close watch there, I randomly checked one week and found 48 issues reasonably priced issues. Checked a couple of weeks later and wupti 16 more so there is bound to turn more up. Hell they probably made a 100.000 of each issue way back when so they are bound to pop up now and again.

I just had a look at Fench ebay, but there was nothing interesting innit…

Then you and I must be looking at different French ebays  Go and search for Star Cine … There are hundreds of matches.

Obviously, compadre. I searched for Star Cine and there was nothing. Strange. I’ll try it again.

hey dillinger- i guess you and me are the only ones bounty hunting for these mags, we should team up like anthony steffen and william burger in ‘‘no room to die’’ and track these mags down!!!
i saw some on ebay.com and they have this really cool looking’‘companeros’’ one for sale.

No me too!

so now it is silence, dillinger and django live. the 3 amigos

Also I’ve ‘discovered’ a new French photo novel magazine simply called western. Has a higher price-tag so is definitely newer than the other issues probably from the late 70s. The issue I found is unnumbered and contains a photo novel for They Call Him Cemetery … I’ve added it to the list on the first page of the thread.

I shot one on ebay containing Django the Last Killer.
It is a Winchester from 1970.
