I picked up this link from swwb:

And i love the moment when Tomas Milian is recording some dialogue pieces and imitates the sound of rowing at the same time :stuck_out_tongue:

Just found this cool clip:

That IS pretty cool…anybody seen that movie, or know where to get it?

Very cool.

I really appreciate efforts like this. Let’s hope the movie gets some decent distribution. It’s nice that they got Colm Feore to do a part. By the way, it’s not going to look as butchered as the trailer, which was some sort of hommage.

Another indie western that looks spaghetti influenced, a bit heavy on the cgi effects though, is The legend of God’s gun:

That music for the closing titles is awesome.
Do you know more about this Mike Bruce (or whatever) and the other musicians who made the film?
I had the idea that the man who did the voice over for the trailer was Dutch, but I’m not sure.

They’re called Spindrift. That’s all I know. More info on the Myspace page I believe.

A quick look on the Net told me they’re an American psychedelic western band, so musically a cross (I’d say) between Country, Morricone and Pink Floyd. You could do a lot worse.

According to Dvdtalk the DVD is astonishing.
I think it’s too late for those Christmas lists you’re making up …

Has anyone seen this one: El Topo. Heard a lot of it, but haven´t seen it yet. Seems to be very strange!

Possibly the best film ever made.

Thanks for this link. Very interesting to see Milian and Corbucci doing the Italian dub.

Do you know if the directors also took such an active role in the foreign language dubs? My guess would be ‘no’ but I have not read anything about it either way.
