RIP Rina Franchetti

Rina Franchetti who played the role of Franc Nero and George Hilton’s mother in "The Brute and the Beast died in Formello, Italy on August 18 at the age of 102. Rina also appeared in “Two Guns for a Coward” with Richard Wyler in 1968.

A quick look at her IMDB shows that she had small roles in the movies of directors as varied as Vittorio De Sica, Federico Fellini, Damiano Damiani, Richard Fleischer, Lucio Fulci and a plethora of other talented filmmakers. At least she lived a long and certainly eventful life.

102 is a damned impressive age. She’s certainly earned her rest.
