Legendary harmonica player Franco De Gemini died in Rome today. He was 84. De Gemini although remembered primarily as the harmonica player in Once Upon a Time in the West can be heard on dozens and dozens of western soundtrack recordings. If you hear a harmonica you can almost bet it’s Franco De Gemini. A very sad day for the fans of Spaghetti westerns and music lovers all over the world.

R.I.P. Franco, I absolutely love some of his harmonica work.
