Director Don Medford who directed “The Hunting Party” (1971) starring Oliver Reed, Gene Hackman and Candice Bergen died December 12, 2012 at West Hills, California, U.S.A. He was 95. Medford made his mark as a TV director and was known for directing the last episode of TV’s “The Fugitve” (1967), starring David Janssen which was watched by more than 78 million people the night it aired. He also directed several western TV series especially several episodes of “The Rifleman” with Chuck Connors.
