Quattro carogne a Malopasso (1989/Vito Colomba)

Apparently, this some cheaply made SW, that’s not in our database. It can be seen here:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kv-lTkhq1Ko&feature=relatedhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7hoc7GPaR4U [part 1]. Anyone can help me find some more info on it, so we can make wiki page for it?

Database page: Quattro carogne a Malopasso - The Spaghetti Western Database

Thanks, Bad Lieutenant, i will add it to the database

Would someone be so kind as to translate it?

The text tells some facts about a TV program in which the film, made by amateurs, was filmed, and about the behaviour of those persons (the four corpses or bastards - the Italian carogna has both meanings, I guess the second one, bastards, is meant here) in the program. I’ll try to find out what happened.

Yeah, it would be great to find out something more about this obscure SW.
I may watch it soon, but i expect it will be difficult because i don’t know italian

I’ve only watched a minute of the You Tube link and the text says it’s not a professional product
Is it really a SW ? My first idea is that it was some kind of joke
The text also says that the product got some kind of notoriety thanks to the TV program
Anyway, sounds interesting

Wasn’t this film shown from Italian TV when finished? That’s where the YouTube version is from, right? That would make it official enough in my eyes, I don’t know about the database though. I mentioned this film to Fatman few months ago, he didn’t have this film on his list and he hadn’t heard of it before. I don’t know if he added it to his list. Opening credits also said something about TV but I don’t know what it was, can you help here Scherp?

Anyway, for a amateur production it’s pretty good, with many camera angles, ok shooting locations, mostly good constumes etc. Anyone who has seen some of these truly shitty Sergio Leone “tributes” at Youtube will appreciate the trouble people behind Quattro caroge a Malopasso went trough. Acting looks & sounds very amateurish even for those who do not speak Italian and soundtrack recycles few Morricone songs over and over again, maybe the biggest downsides in the film for me. Still, I’d rate it worth 2 stars as a proper movie. It looks better than some 70s cheapie spaghettis or 80s Spanish productions at least! (Anyone seen Al oeste de Rio Grande or La revancha?

Corrected the link in my first post, as i’ve put the link containing some snippets with some commentary. It should be ok now.
Anyway i watched 2 of the 10 parts on youtube and i need a break, it;s really difficult to watch, escpecially without knowing italian

This one is really really terrible. The version i watched was italian, so i couldn’t understand 90% of what was said, but the dialogue could save this mess don’t matter how it would be. Anyway lots of talking and not much action. This movie wins my award for the least plausible wild west ever - have to be seen to be believed. It should be also awarded for the biggest amount of ridiculous hats. The acting is non-exsistent. The score is mostly some recycled Morricone clues [not only from westerns - we even get fragment of Chi-mai]. My favourite scene - open carrage gets attack by bandits - they shoot at it and we can heard the sound of shattering glass. 1/10

You make me wanna see these ones
