Can we give any love to what I feel is not only one of my favorite westerns of all time but one that many, who aren’t really into westerns seem to enjoy.

not among my favourite westerns but it’s a good film.
A perennial favourite. One of the great Eastwood films (and characters) and one of the most impressive “modern” American Westerns (ie, it’s an allegory if you want it to be).
Debunks myths with commendable maturity even as it satisfies on all levels as a revenge film.
Looks stunning too and has fine performances all round. Can’t recommend it enough.
Eastwood’s coolest character since ‘no name’. A great story with some of the best movie lines ever. I have not read ‘Gone To Texas’ but I might give it a scan someday.
