Mud and Blood Trilogy

I think it was mentioned earlier that the name came from Howard Hughes (not the business tycoon / film maker, but the author of several very good books on film).

I doubt Corbucci ever treated these as a trilogy. I think it is a bit of a stretch - why does everyone always want to make things into “trilogies” anyway…?

Hehe, good question. Even Once upon time in the West, Duck you sucker and Once upon time in a America are seen as a trilogy by some.
