Great photos of some iconic buildings, in remarkably good condition. Bravo!
Thanks for the photos - keep them coming. All these places are on my to visit list - some time?
Hi Guys,
I’ve used my spare time of the last weekend to visit two locations from Il grande duello / The Grand Duel / Storm Rider, Both at about 30 minutes by car from Rome.
One is the Formello waterfall, where Phillip was interrogated. The waterfall looks the same but I couldn’t reproduce the shot because I would have had to go into the water. I’ll go back better equipped.
The building is behind the plants, and another behind me, but far away. The station only serves as a transit for a train to stop so that the one with priority from the opposite direction can pass. Because of the trains passing just when I was there, I couldn’t take many photos.
In the next few weeks I will return to the waterfall and also go to visit my brother in Pisa, to go to the location of the first scene of the film, that of the Uliveto quarry.
I want to report a few updates regarding the new western location in Aprilia, built by Tiziano Carnevale. So far I have only had brief exchanges with Carnevale, but I will soon have the opportunity to do a more complete interview and will create a page for the location as soon as the more important ones are finished.
The small town has been used in this recent movies:
- Redemption by Emiliano Ferrara
- Oltre il Confine by Emiliano Ferrera
- Django Undisputed by Claudio Del Falco (yet to be released)
Recently, the famous Italian group Negramaro also shot its latest video clip here:
“Marziani” on Youtube
Are you planning to create more Italian location pages/links?
I want to get the location pages up to 100 by year end - nearly there.
With your help, this number could go higher🤠
Quality counts, not quantity haha
