Finally, as of today, I have the complete ost of ‘Il Mercenario’! I have been searching for it for years. It has the coolest whistling by Allessandro Allessandroni ever. I’m learning it right now. So that, whenever I enter somewhere, I can inspire awe in my potential enemies.

Yes this release is outstanding.
I used to have a release on C.D which was clearly taken from the Original L.P recording, as you heard pops and the needle going round in places.
In the days of L.P this went for siily prices, and I suspect still does.
LP records are collector items I think?

It IS a great soundtrack. I have it as a two in one with Faccia a Faccia. The disc was an Italian import from 1995, and i picked it up in a specialist store in Leeds. Ironically, i was actually looking for the ost of La Resa Dei Conti, which they didn’t have, and which i’d have to say is my overall fave sw soundtrack ;D
Do you have the expanded edition of THE BIG GUNDOWN soundtrack?
Certainly do! ;D And it’s hardly ever out of the cd player 
It took me a bit getting used to the expanded version, as the mix and sound was different to my old L.P of the soundtrack.
I do like the extra tracks on the expanded version, but I do still have a fondness for the old sound aswell.
But its a truly great soundtrack .
all i have at the moment is the shorter Vinyl release but i will get it at some point
I would still keep your Vinyl , even if you do end up getting the expanded version, just to compare and see what you think.
