I Just Bought … (Non-SW Shopping Diary)
Haha, without wanting to read it, I actually did. ;D Now I’m even more curious about this.
Sorry, Too bad we don’t have option to hide text with spoilers. Or is it possible?

Not a problem, man. My own fault. [glow=red,2,300]SPOILERS AHEAD[/glow] Does he die early? Because I’ve read somewhere that his part is pretty small in this.
I don’t think it’s possible. But there are nice glowy effects

Just got a couple of old Shaw Brothers films;

The kid With The Golden Arm

Crippled Avengers

Oh, and the X Rated version of The Night Evelyn Came Out Of The Grave, since my No Sjhame one became completely unplayable for some reason >:(

Picked up the Aqua teen Hunger Force movie in town the other day. Watched it, but although i did find parts of it funny, it seemed curiously tame in comparison with the actual series…

Just picked up Your Vice Is a Locked Room And Only I Have the Key aka Il tuo vizio è una stanza chiusa e solo io ne ho la chiave

Got a little Italian crime in the mail box today:

Revolver and Grand Slam

A couple of good titles there, which I am sure you will enjoy and of course listening to the Morricone music.

The Revolver expanded soundtrack is a real good listen.
The Revolver expanded soundtrack is a real good listen.
How many tracks does the expanded version have? I have lp version with 11 tracks.

21 tracks with a total running time of a whopping 61mins , and I am currently listening to.

Highly recommended !

Yes, I know a couple of other people who only collect soundtracks on L.P format.

I’m really not well versed in the Italian crime genre but have been wanting to pick these two up for some time and they seemed a good (and cheap) place to start. Got some more coming.

Morricone is (nearly) always a good listen. Would love to collect more of his soundtracks but at the moment I focus on the spaghetti western soundtracks of which there is plenty

I have actually been getting paid on time at work, so I’ve been buying quite a few things, lately.

Here are the non-Spaghetti Western discs I’ve picked up:

DOG BITE DOG
CRIME STORY (Dragon Dynasty edition)
RAKSHAK (Hindi film)
JOHNNY GADDAAR (Hindi film)
FLASH POINT (new Hong Kong film)
ONG BAK–THE THAI WARRIOR

–I’ve ordered a lot of other titles, but I haven’t received them, yet.

Some more Italian goodies arrived from dvdpacific today:

Mario Bava Box 1 & 2

Is dvdpacific the cheapest place to get those boxes? i’m planning to buy them soon

No. DVDPacific charged around $32 a box… www.deepdiscount has box 1 at around $23 and box 2 at around $33 and I belive lower postage BUT the reason I chose DVDPacific was that packages sent from that company has a better chance of not being caught in customs whereas in my experience and others pacakages from DeepDiscount above a certain value is always caught (due to the way to clear marking of package value) which would have made it a lot more expensive for me. Don’t know what the rules are in Poland could be less strict than in Denmark though. The above package by the way went right through customs with any problems, so I’m happy.

Thanks for the info. Haven’t had any trouble with customs so far, so i believe either the Polish custom rules are less strict or i just had a lot of luck

Just received the following DVD’s in the mail today:

FAR SIDE OF JERICHO
CROSS OF IRON
DUEL AT THE SUPREME GATE

and, finally…

YANKEE from KOCH!!!

I also received two Hong Kong DVD’s in the mail today, from Sally Yeh–the lead actress in both films:

THE OCCUPANT
CUPID ONE

Just bought Mallrats and Koyaanisqatsi. Also got Squadra Volante in the mail.

Got a little more Italian today:

The Giallo Collection (4-disc)

Contains:
The Bloodstained Shadow
The Case of the Bloody Iris
Short Night of Glass Dolls
Who Saw Her Die?

Too lazy to specify the original Italian titles …
