Criterion always hits the mark with solid releases.
People are understandably complaining that it’s not in 4K. But I’d choose stacks of extras over that right now.
The horror splurge continues…
BRIDES OF DRACULA (despite the absence of him) I think defined for all time exactly what a Hammer Horror looks and sounds like. The costumes are lush and the set design is perfect.
KISS OF THE VAMPIRE expanded the formula and proved you did not need Dracula for a great vampire movie.
HALLOWEEN II is so underrated even by the people who made it.

I profited of Black Friday on the Severin store which had lots of products who were 50% off, I bought my favorite Sergio martino film, the strange vice of mrs. wardh, the set also comes with the gorgeous soundtrack by Nora Orlandi, I can’t wait for it to be delivered
