I used to have Iron Sky on DVD. I must’ve watched it one time when I wasn’t really in the mood for it because I got rid of it and I’ve somewhat regretted that decision ever since. So, I’ve got it back. I’m led to understand that the sequel is terrible (I’ve never seen it) but the double-bill blu-ray was only £8 in the 101 Films sale so, sod it.

With these I’m finished collecting Clint Eastwood American westerns.

PALE RIDER features Clint’s most ingenious shoot outs in my opinion.

Saw these two on a double bill back in 1976 or 77 … one of my most fun cinema experiences.

Seen them loads of times since on TV … though nothing will beat seeing the movies on a huge cinema screen.

Seem to remember these caused quite a stink with the actors. Apparently they had signed on to do 1 film and paid as such but the producers released them as 2

Same here. Great on the large screen. Best Musketeer adaptions ever…

Heartily agree!! What a cast! I am waiting for a blu ray or dvd that includes RETURN OF THE MUSKETEERS.

This one wasn’t quite up to the standard of the 70’s movies, and is rather marred by the on set death of Roy Kinnear :frowning:

Yeah that was real tragedy. But you are right the first two are the best.

A three disc set would be great … and also the extras that were on the Anchor Bay release are really nice - Two documentary’s with loads of insight from actors and crew. Christopher Lee is particularly amusing with his anecdotes about sword fighting a very drunken Ollie Reed. :wink: Dangerous!

No extras on this BD release unfortunately.

I saw a documentary called THE MANY FACES OF CHRISTOPHER LEE. He talked a lot about the MUSKETEERS on that.
Dare I ask what you thought of the 1994 version??

Was that with Pig nose Sutherland and Cocaine Sheen !? … only saw a trailer - wouldn’t waste my time.

:joy::joy::joy:
That’s the one!
Yeah… The best things about it were Tim Curry as Cardinal De Richelieu and Rebecca De Mornay’s De Winters.

The end shootout was a total rip off of Tony Anthony in the Stranger movies :stuck_out_tongue:

I need to see those films!!
