Arrow sure sells  they usually have nice cover art too.

Ordered this just in time for Halloween :stuck_out_tongue:
There are several other Hammer films I’d rather have on blu-ray but they have no region A release yet. This was a good price so I got it.

Also ordered this.

I think you should try to get a region free blu ray player…. it solves the problem.

I’m working on it. I have to do some research on them and how much they cost.

If you want to go high end…. the Oppo serie is great…. I use to have one of their dvd player 10 years ago and the picture quality was quite amazing…. plus you could play any region and pal or ntsc. it also had an usb input so you could stick your xvid or divx movie into an usb stick and watch it on your tv.

but I just realised they stoped producing blu ray player in april 2018… so they’re dead now…. too bad :frowning:

Network’s Bonkers sale has sent me into a bit of a buying frenzy of old British films and TV.

Somebody stop me!

edit: The Singing Ringing Tree is East German obviously but anyone of my age group from the UK will know it as an oft repeated staple of kids TV in Britain during the 1960s. Used to freak the bloody life out of me.

It’s a good film. A great film. But I’m not in any immediate hurry to see it again soon and it was a bare-bones disc. Somewhere down the line I may well elect to pick up the blu-ray. Maybe.

City of the Walking Dead ? I always knew this movie under the Nightmare City title.

maybe it was always known like that in the U.K. or maybe Arrow is trying to cash off the popular Walking Dead tv serie

That’s the reverse cover. I currently have the Nightmare City side on mine.
