It is Dorado Films attempt to get a High Crime DVD/Blu Ray out. For my money this is one of the best euro-cult films ever made and probably the best euro-crime movie all round! The only problem is it has never gotten a quality English language release. Please support this if you are interested and spread the word!
I agree, this does look nice! I like kickstarters, great way of funding a protect and a great way to get limited edition stuff for the obsessive collectors ;D
I would like to see some spags get funded by kickstarters, give some the releases they deserve.
Yep, the reaction so far doesn’t seem to be great but the word isn’t exactly out. I do think they have over-complicated things a bit, just kick starting a plain old DVD release might have been the best option rather than all the additions and different versions they are suggesting.
Also, as a European as much as I’d like the DVD it is going to give me Region A/B headaches, whereas at least I know it is easy to play a Region 1 DVD.

I always thought it wasn’t and that there was always problems… I’ve never had a regular DVD player that couldn’t be made multi-region by pressing a few buttons!
It’s all about the cost really.
You can get a region free DVD player for about 30 quid but a proper region free BluRay player will knock you back more like 150-200.
As a result, for the time being I’m sticking with DVDs.
I just had a thought… What if these dvd companies could put out remastered trailers in theatres, and then after the trailer ask for funding to get this released? A bit implausible, I know, since they probably would need support in major retailers and all, but maybe with a Tarantino or Tarantino-supported movie…
