[Germany] Plaion Pictures (Koch Media - Koch Films)

The rainbow collection of Koch Media is perhaps not the end.
An employee of Koch has confirmed this in another forum. And that the person responsible for the Spaghetti Western DVD’s.

In addition, a single release of FACE TO FACE is canceled.
The film rights have expired.

Thank you for keeping eye on all fronts.
I read here or somewhere else that Koch canceled a single release of ‘Faccia a faccia’ because they have not been able to secure better film elements than existing ones so the eventual DVD would not be any better than one in the boxset.

Gladly. I will keep the eyes still open.

Yes, that was a problem with FACE TO FACE. There was no better film material.
And now the problem for Koch Media, the film rights to an end. A single release is now impossible.

Cultcine think they have the rights now of course to Face to Face  .

Yes, the licence for FtF runs out this year. And they haven’t sold enough of their Cine Plus re-releases, so most likely they will only re-release a SW if they can release it in better quality or in a more complete version.

How i wish it were true

Does anyone know in what package “Take a Hard Ride” comes ?
Amaray, Digipak ?

I am assuming amaray

High price for an Amaray. Or an Amaray in a slipcase ?
Friday will show it.

Well, it is their regular price fro their US and Euro westerns. Only the Rainbow Collection was surprisingly cheaper.

Koch Media has announced corresponding Western DVD releases. But unfortunately only U.S. Western.

I’m starting to enjoy US Westerns so hoping for some good stuff.

The White Feather and The Return of Frank James are good stuff.

The Rainbow Collection will go on. Releases will be in July/August:

Chiedi perdono a Dio… non a me/May God Forgive You… But I Won’t
Extras: Interview with George Ardisson

Le pistole non discutono/Bullets Don’t Argue
Extras: Interview with Mario Caiano

A box including three previously released DVDs of the Rainbow Collection:

[/quote]Yankee, Barrelful of Dollars? Which is the third one?

The box includes Yankee, Seven Dollars on the Red and A Barrel Full of Dollars…

This was unexpected, ;D

Thanks for the heads up Axl.

Thats an unusual selection for a box. I thought Koch wanted to stay away from boxes no?

Anyway I hope the George Ardisson interview has english. I’m a fan!
