When I was a kid, there was a TV western who’s main character had a holster for his rifle on the door of his driver’s side car/truck. I remember it being Steve McQueen in Wanted Dead or Alive. But this show is shown on the internet and it takes place in the old west.
Can anybody help ?
My immediate thought was ‘Cade’s County’, the TV series starring Glenn Ford.
I’m probably wrong, though. 
Or it may be ‘Bearcats’ (Powderkeg)…?
Thanks for the reply. Those two don’t ring any bells for me. In my mind’s eye I see the show in question in black and white. I can see the rifle/shotgun mounted on the inside of the door so as to be ready for quick action. I sure thought Steve McQueen was correct, but I can’t find any reference to it anywhere.
