Favorite films of 2009?

I’ve seen very few films this year, the best would probably be Inglourious Basterds, followed closely by two HK thrillers, Vengeance and Accident.

I’ve been looking forward to seeing both of those HK films! My DVD of VENGEANCE should be here very soon!

If you liked The Mission and Exiled, you’ll like Vengeance also, as these films are very similar in style, although IMO Vengeance is not as good as the other two.

Accident is probably my biggest surprise of the year, although the second half isn’t as engaging as the first half.

Yes, THE MISSION and EXILED are two of my favorite HK films of all-time.
Looking forward to VENGEANCE and ACCIDENT!

I will add the original Inglorious Bastards to what Sherp said. It is one of the best movies I saw this year even though it is 30 years old.

I also saw this one last year, but it’s definetly not one the best ones… it was funny and entertaining, but niothing more.
