Explosive Media

Yeah, I really do hope so. They have been picking the right sort of ones to do too, ones without loads of previous releases but not bottom of the barrel either - they’re all hits in the spaghetti sweet spot. There is certainly more in that sort of range if they did continue. I’d hope for a couple more at least, but if not I’m happy with what we got - all killer no filler.

Nice video, it seems that you miss Django den Colt an der kehle.

Django den Colt an der Kehle - very good movie and Explosive Media release too. My discovery this year. Never seen before.

Hm good point, I think I don’t have it…

Yes, I noticed that too. While I do not have the Django, Prepare a Coffin one that Seb has, as I am happy enough with the one from Arrow that I’ve got. Would be interested to know if the EM one is any better though.

I also left out Massacre Time

Same thing goes with that one though, if you have the Arrow Video one I’d say that is plenty. Or are you saying you have both? :grinning:

of course I do

Just been reading some of the latest blu-ray reviews you have put up of Explosive Media’s spaghetti western releases and it seems that they are a bland bunch with more misses than hits it seems. I’m talking picture quality wise. A shame.

OK their website should be back, fixing the last glitches. It was just a technical snafu.

On a more general note: do buy their spaghetti western titles if you haven’t, that’s the only way they’ll ever release more spaghetti westerns. Currently I hear, they sell not well enough at all (hence no new announcements)

I haven’t got them all but I loved their release of Arizona Colt, it was much better than previous releases. Long Days of Vengeance needs an upgrade (hopefully a company like Arrow can rectify it but until they do, explosive’s is the best available).
I won’t bother purchasing the MacGregor films because the first film still has the out-of-sync audio carried over from the Italian DVD, so I don’t think it’s worth it.

The Dirty Outlaws is a major upgrade from the Wild East release, I haven’t got them all but this one is beautiful.

Will just clarify that I have bought bunches of Explosive Media titles and also The Dirty Outlaws  What I was commenting (more than a year ago) was that Sebastian has given many of these releases less than stellar reviews. But these are probably what we are going to get ever so grabbing them is mandatory
