I love the spaghetti homage in this film! Everything from the mood to the dialogues are so spaghetti like, especailly the FAFDM reference with the can! ;D
Yes, it’s one of the more blatant tributes of recent years, and thankfully To manages to incorporate his influences while also creating interesting characters of his own and sustaining a wonderfully deadpan mood.
There’s nothing original here (there rarely is in To’s movies) but everything has been reupholstered with considerable panache.
