Hopefully this is something decent and not more lame generic modern day slop like the dutchman and django (tv show), but I canât say I have high hopes.

It might be a good laugh if you get wildly intoxicated first ⌠wonder why âDjango Undisputedâ, acts and looks really like, âTrinityâ ⌠so there, Iâm disputing that this has anything to do with Django.

Waiting for an English dub or subtitles I happened upon a dodgy Russian site and watched it. I have no idea if itâs any good because I donât speak Russian but it would definitely appear to lean toward the comedy SW style.

I think the problem is we donât have the quality of actors nowadays (and those who may be talented enough wouldnât be willing to do a modern SW), and the great composers of the scores that made the SW so brilliant have passed away.
I think a remake of the original Django with Franco Nero as an older man could have potential (the age heâs now would actually make a character whoâs largely given up on life more credible), with the original soundtrack reused (and as many original actors returning as possible), but it doesnât surprise me that the awful comedy SWs are what resonates most strongly with modern audiences. Sadly we live in an age where mindless slop is what sells.
