Thanks, I googled. Looks fricking complicated to join personal invite needed >:(

Yeah, invite is required which used to be pretty easy to get, but lately they have tightened up on their rules and I no longer have any invities… kinda ridiculous, really

How can I get an invite?

Generally just asking for an invite in a forum such as this does the trick

Although it helps to establish your presence in the community first

I’ve got an account on there, but still have not uploaded anything :P. However, in the past I aquired a lovely print of the 1969 Israel film Every Bastard A King with William Berger. If I can find it, I’ll try to upload it. I don’t know anything about the specs of a dvd, apart from full or widescreen ::).

Would love an invite from anyone. If not I guess I’ll try Cultcine.

Anyone who pays money to these DVD-R sellers is a fool, everything and anything these sellers sell you can always trade with someone in the community (which I do) or download from somewhere (Which I’ve never done as I’m clueless with such things.

Not a trader myself so I guess I am just a fool.

Haha… I agree with Yodlaf but it can be hard when you first get into hard-to-find films, and you don’t really have a collection to trade with

Luckily, there’s usually a handful of friendly folks willing to help out, and people will send you copies if you just pay for the cost of postage and blank DVDR

Like I said above, I can’t help with any invites since I apparently don’t qualify for them any longer, but I have been pondering starting my own private tracker similar to CG just for spaghet fans here…

Sounds like a cracking idea.

Yes !

Sounds great. I would love an invite when it is up and running.

Oh, that would be cool! And make it invite free! ;D

Dear me.

Yodlaf-
You seem to misunderstand, I want the movies for my own personal enjoyment not to trade or sell. I want to have them for my collection.

That’s what Yodlaf means.

I bought me a few from a guy who wanted 2€ per copy, which was perfectly ok then, and then I started to trade them with other fans. But only to get more films I was eager to see. I gave away some for free, but never sold one.

I’ve never sold one, either. I enjoy trading. It’s fun. Always nice to get a hard-to-find film in the mail and give it a day in court.

You SICK dvd “traders”! ;D

Sorry, but we’re not as “deviant” as you!

What I’m saying is don’t give these unscrupulous people good money for DVD-R’s, there’s always someone willing to help out.

If you want to give them money it’s up to you but it is indeed a foolish thing to do.
