Beste Western Action bietet „Die Verfluchten der Pampas“ aus dem jahr 1966. Der Italo-Western des Old Shatterhand Regisseurs Hugo Fregonese und Robert Taylor in der Hauptrolle lag ebenfalls im 70mm Großformat zur Verfügung, welche einen hochauflösenden 8K Scan ermöglichte. Wow indeed, although I have to admit to being slightly sceptical. Was it really shot on 70mm? And most new formats come with ‘teething problems’ so I worry 4K will be no different in this regard. Yet hopefully my fears prove unfounded…
