Death Sentence and 5 Man Army blus have been the most welcome additions for me this year, so that’s something I’m glad about. Haven’t cared to pick up much else.

are you serious? we may be missing some “meatier” releases in the English-compatible release section, but overall this year’s calendar isn’t exactly a disappointment, and the year is still young

All I’ve bought this year is five blu ray’s and one dvd in comparison to last year which I thought was a great year…yes it’s a very dry year so far.

@Admin it hasn’t been totally dry but for English friendly releases compared to last year it has. Last year we got a Explosive Media release every month practically and not one but two box sets from Arrow. Last year was especially strong.

I agree with everybody in that the year is still young on releases and what we’ve gotten so far is fantastic.

I’m still hoping on releases this year for the following: Any Gun Can Play, A Hole Between the Eyes, Hate for Hate, Gentleman Killer, Johny Yuma, The Forgotten Pistolero, and Seven Dollars on the Red

My only wishful thinking one is Tutto per Tutto aka Go For Broke aka All Out

It’s been a bit quite recently, but I remain optimistic about year-end news. Just read something on Instagram that reaffirms my gut feeling (or rather, what I know or can deduce from a few sources) that some Leone announcements may be forthcoming. My money is on 4K Dollars movies in a Europe territory (or all major ones…), but a Duck You Sucker 4K might also be cool with me

Any new news/update(s) on Plaion’s massive 4K set of Django? Do we know if it’s a general release or website exclusive?

Well there’s months enough in the year for them to finish all 10 arrabiatas originally planned…
As for Django, no new news but I doubt it will offer anything worthwhile for non-Germans who already have any of the other Django 4K releases… But we’ll see

I’ve written to Plaion three times asking if there will be one more Western All’Arrabbiata this year, but unfortunately no reply, apart from a few general phrases. But that could also mean that something is in preparation, as there was no denial.
Patience is being stressed.

So far they have kept hush hush for the whole series. They will announce wehen ready.

They do keep things pretty close to the vest when it comes to the SW releases, which is a little odd at times as there’s not too many other companies chomping at the bit to release them. I get that the rights holders to the films don’t want anything publicized too quickly for varied reasons, some of them understandable, but I also don’t think small hints would hurt. In the end we have to trust they know what they’re doing.
