I think that last time everyone here was just appreciative of you supplying whatever information you could. It just built up the anticipation.

That’s the ultimate goal indeed and totally agree about a nice little mix of films in these box sets. That is the only way films like ā€œI Want Him Deadā€ are going to get released stateside anyway.

Yes, great box and I’am definitely gonna buy.
I think my dream Arrow box would be:

  • God Made Them, I Kill Them
  • Bullets Don’t Argue
  • Any Gun Can Play
  • Kill the Wicked!

Or a Stranger boxset would also be very nice!
And I hope Blindman will get an individual release some day.

Hopefully someday these two will be included in a box.

I’ve got to come clean. When I first saw the title of Savage Guns and before I looked closer, I was convinced that it was a Fidani boxset Arrow was releasing. :grimacing:

We are getting Fred Beir spaghetti westerns. A Fidani box is probably right around the corner. :cowboy_hat_face:

Does anyone remember a clip shared years ago from, I think, Swiss TV of Milian doing his dubbing on Four Of The Apocalypse? It might have made a good extra!

It was in fact a dubbing session for ā€˜Sonny & Jed’

Great thanks! Funny how you mis remember things! I can still picture something behind the scenes of Chaco though maybe its just Milian’s headband that is making me think that.

Another Arrow boxset this year? I saw they uploaded the trailer to I Want Him Dead and I was thinking ā€œno way?ā€ It’s cool that not only we get 10,000 Dollars for a Massacre and Vengeance is Mine but now I Want Him Dead and EL PURO? El Puro had so many bootleg versions that I was wondering which version they’ll go with lol

However, I’m confused about the Terence Hill film, Wrath of the Wind, which isnt a western. Did Arrow know this and decided this was the best way to release it? Either way, it looks interesting. I think the better choice in its place would have been a film like Death Sentence, Vengeance or Today We Kill, Tomorrow We Die. But again, it depends on who owns the rights and which films they can get. I know Synapse still has Today We Kill… and Code Red has Vengeance. Does anyone know if the rights to those films can be obtained from those companies by Arrow for example? Or are there any issues with that?

I feel like a company like Vinegar Syndrome would be the ones to release a Fidani boxset due to the ā€œso bad its goodā€ style of those films. I don’t really see Arrow releasing Fidani films.

Really!!! From what company? @Admin

This is the same company that released a Bill Rebane box set. If you excavate down to the level of Fidani’s films and continue to dig, you would eventually reach the level of Rebane’s films. Nothing is beyond the realm of possibility.

I think Severin Films would be a safer bet  Would love to see a Django box set a la the Black Emanuelle one they released not long ago featuring 25-:30 movies  I doubt we will get spaghetti westerns from either company though.
