StudioCanal has all these great titles and theyāre handing āem out to subpar companies like Mediacs, a dang shame!
Iām starting to wonder if maybe they donāt wanna spend the money and/or deal with companies like Arrow, Explosive Media, etc. Cāmon StudioCanal, youāll make your profit.
Added most Amazon links to the new Explosive release in the database. I will check up on a few olders ones next weekā¦ in most cases all can be found, sometimes it requires a bit of trickery
where did you notice that? I added Tiger of River Kwai (no English audio), Buck (no English audio) and releases of a bunch of Goijo Mitic releases (not sure about English audio there)
On Amazon.de has reversed cover it clearly reads English,German and Italian audio for tiger from the river Kwai, the buck movie I got from another German site, but only for upcoming releases of both.
I think @Pumaman knows these releases and updated the details in the database. For Buck itās printed on the back but not included, not sure about the other flick. Maybe someone who has it can confirm.
I have a contact there so I can try and ask, but honestly I doubt it (even the cover looks the same as the Kino), they are a license trader like most labels, and I think it would be unlikely (albeit laudable) if they actually put in own work and resources into this.
I think so too, but I guess itās at least promising that another UK label is releasing a spaghetti western. Kino Blu-ray also seems to be out of print.
I have only seen the uncut version of A reason to live (without CoburnĀ“s own voice), and I doubt that a shorter cut in HD will provide a much better experience. The real deal-breaker to me is the lack of any meaningful extras.
I suspect these are typical instances of Mediacsā sloppiness. The āBuckā releases mentioned English audio that wanāt on the discs, Iām sure the mistake is continued with the new release. āKwaiā had only Italian and German audio, correctly listed on the packages. The new issue lists addtional English audio but I wouldnāt expect them to manufacture new discs here, probably just another copy & paiste mistake by these gremlins.
