I might double dip if it has any new extras. I have EurekaĀ“s version and, aside from being slightly cut, I am very happy with that version. If Kino gives us a flawless picture and a chunk of new features, mabye. Now IĀ“m reminded that I donĀ“t even have a 4K player, proving how much I love the film.
Missed the announcement. I really hope it sells so we can get more spaghetti down the road.

Wait 4K ā¦ the existing Kino or Eureka blu-ray wasnāt sourced from a 4K master right? I remember them just doing clean up to an existing master. This must be a new scan. Unless I am way off here.

Yes it has to be, there is no way those current releases were from a 4k scan. A new scan is great news because imo it desperately needed one.
So according to Dr. Svet who reviewed both the Kino and Eureka releases over at blu-ray.com the Kino disc was from an older master and disc one of the Eureka was from that same older master while disc 2 of the Italian version was to qoute him āPresented here is the more recent 2K restoration of the film that was completed by Cineteca di Bologna in 2009ā. In Kinoās press release for this 4K release there is no mention of a new scan, I hope we hear differently soon.
Just wanting some advice, really, regarding the upcoming āBlood Moneyā SW box set.
Iāve pre-ordered it already on Amazon UK, (for Ā£69.99), but am wondering if it would be better to cancel this, and order direct from āArrowā, which has it listed at Ā£55.00 at the moment.
What do other members of āSWDBā usually do?

Amazon will eventually price match it - it just takes them a while sometimes, I wouldnāt worry about cancelling it

yeah just order wherever is cheapest, including zavvi, Wow or whereverā¦ just make sure you donāt miss out on the first print run because of booklet and poster etcā¦

If use of the SWDb Amazon Links is any indication, not many people so far are pre-ordering the new Arrow box set. Meanwhile, I have added a bunch of additional Amazon link, but so far still no dice on Canadaā¦
