[Blu-ray] Latest and Upcoming Releases šŸ“€

what did they do?

When they announced the Blu Ray of Farewell Friend with Charles Bronson and Alain Delon, I had E-Mailed them and asked if the French audio with translated English subtitles would be included and they said yes, and then upon getting the Blu Ray, to my horror, no French language version with translated English subtitles. I sent them an E-Mail asking very politely with hints of my disappointment to why the French version wasn’t included, and never got a response. I know I probably should’ve tried E-Mailing them again, but I didn’t want to risk using certain four letter words.

Ah well thats fair enough. As for DRAH, im of course interested, I just struggle to convince myself to replace a perfectly good blu ray for another blu ray. though, I’m a sucker for those posters and extras included, so that definately makes it easier.

Exclusive teaser…

As for Plaion, last time 10 days were between their riddle and the announcement so we may have to wait a bit longer…

Specs are in the database, thanks to Uli

Nice! that looks great. they’ve been on a real roll with these excellent releases coming up. Sometimes it is a hard choice between covers though. Which do you prefer here?

I dig the one with the vertical bar and the baddies getting shot

I have heard from someone else now too that it is gonna be from a new master. Of course we’ll only know for sure once they announce it officially

Where does this one sit next to other Gemma films? Is it worth a blind buy?

It’s basically The Count of Monte Cristo, spaghetti style. Some find it to be rather slow, but I’d say yes, it’s worth a blind buy.

I am sure there’s a thread for that

I definitely would choose the first cover. More iconic and more in the style of a movie poster. And I also haven’t seen this movie. Great release to see this movie for the first time.

Well… Both are based on posters

Oh for sure, its classic Gemma.

yeah, see, its a bit of a 50/50 - that’s one for each already! :grinning: Not that it really matters they’re all great covers in the end…

While some highly awaited items are still question marks, we performed many smaller updates to the release calendar this week already, and more news is on the horizon. Check it out, scroll back through the last few months, and as always: if you hear something, say something

I keep checking daily for a release date and pre-order, I got my cart full with the four others and just waiting on this one to place that order!

THE BIG GUNDOWN finally makes its UK home video debut, and the features just revealed are nothing short of incredible. Three versions, the long one with English audio, various commentaries, interviews and other extras, and it looks great, too. Click here for all the details:

Very exciting. Might double dip on this one if the price is decent.

Edit: Just checked their site. £22 so I might have to pick this one up.
