Ride the High Country was a great vehicle for a couple of veteran western stars, The Wild Bunch is still one of the best westerns ever made and Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garcia probably peckinpah’s best movie. A great body of work overall though.
My three choices are The Wild Bunch, PG&BtK and Alfredo Garcia. But I love Cable Hogue too. Jason Robards was a great actor, but he always died… :’(

My vote goes for WILD BUNCH but Getaway, Bring me the Head of Alfredo Garcia, Straw Dogs, Ride the High Country, Cross of Iron are all pretty close. ;D
The Wild Bunch is way out in front for me, followed by (tough decision here) Cross of Iron and Ride the High Country (not the one I watch the most, but it is one of his most resonant, beautifully realised works).
