Blackthorn (Mateo Gil, 2011)

This looks like it could be alright.

In Bolivia, Butch Cassidy (now calling himself James Blackthorne) pines for one last sight of home, an adventure that aligns him with a young robber and makes the duo a target for gangs and lawmen alike.

My girlfirend told me about this a few days ago. Yeah, it looks alright.

Wasn’t so bad…

Saw it recently, can’t say I was really absorbed in the film. Not that it’s badly done or anything like that, however a little more passion should have been injected in almost everything

I must admit I quite enjoyed it.

My friend gave me his copy of this. I haven’t watched it yet. I’ll get round to it eventually. There’s so many films I have to watch.

I watched this yesterday. I wasn’t that thrilled. Not a bad film but there’s nothing new to offer to the genre either.

Watched it with the wife last night. Thumbs up from both. Maybe nothing new but well done and Sam Shepard was fine as the crusty old bandit.
