My favourite movies of 2016:

  1. The Witch (2015 but got wide release in 2016)
  2. Deadpool
  3. Batman: Return of the Caped Crusaders
  4. The Neon Demon
  5. Green Room (2015 but got wide release in 2016)

(I’d also like to add that the much-maligned Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice landed just outside my top 5. The longer version on the blu-ray is a much better film than the horribly edited theatrical version)

Favorite Films of 2016
Granted I didn’t get to see Hacksaw Ridge( directed by Mel Gibson) or Silence ( directed by Martin Scorsese) and I wanted badly to see both. of what I saw this is what I liked,

  1. The Boy
  2. Conjuring 2
  3. Magnificent Seven (remake)
  4. Suicide Squad
  5. Warcraft
