“Cause he’s got a daaaate with an April Morning”
Lee Van Cleef achieved fame for portraying the minatory and baleful characters in an abundance of Spaghetti Western classics. Whilst that could be sorely the gift that he was supremely recognized for, Lee also had a talent that was latent to those whom admired him for his acting.
Before the year (1971), in which was the year that the western Captain Apache was realesed, it was not in the knowledge of those who revered Lee Van Cleef about his his reserved talent of singing.
The original score for Captain Apache included two songs that are sang by Lee Van Cleef himself, both songs being theme songs of the western picture. Whilst the score for Captain Apache is no equivable to other western pictures that he starred, it laudable that he got to sing in both of the theme songs.
More so the “April Morning” song that is pleasing to listen to, with memorable lyrics that are an ease to recite.
