“Cause he’s got a daaaate with an April Morning!!!”
Lee Van Cleef achieved fame for portraying the minatory and baleful characters in an abundance of Spaghetti Western classics. Whilst that could be sorely the gift that he was supremely recognized for, Lee also had a talent that was latent to those whom admired him.
Before the year (1971) in which was the year the western Captain Apache was realesed, it was not in the knowledge of those who revered Lee Van Cleef of his reserved talent of singing.
The original score for Captain Apache included two songs. “Captain Apache and April Morning.” in which are both sang by Lee Van Cleef himself. Whilst the score for Captain Apache might have been not the best score in a western picture that Lee Van Cleef starred in, his performance on those two particular songs is laudable.
