Just finished reading the very good book of this “modern” western but what are people’s opinon of the film directed by Billy Bob Thornton with Matt Damon and Henry Thomas as the two young drifters John Grady Cole and Lacey Rawlings?I haven’t seen the film , but can’t imagine it being better than the book ,for a start the actors are too old to play the characters only 16 and 17 years old in the novel. have you seen it? what did you think?
