Do you consume alcoholic drinks while watching movies at home?

I think it can be relaxing, but you have to be careful so you don’t drink too much, if I do I become so tired and want to sleep instead. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

The second a drop a booze touches my lips I start drifting off to sleep so its not a good mix with films :sweat_smile:

I never drink alcohol (I’m not allowed to) and I don’t smoke, so it’s simply the movie and the movie alone for me. I might drink a glass of water though.

Medical reasons. I’m not religious. Part of my family is catholic, part is protestant, and I was told from both sides that I had to live a good and devout life, but I lost my faith when I was about eleven years old. I struggled with certain matters for a few more years, but then said goodbye to faith for good.

I’ve never been fond of alcohol. It’s usually a diet coke for me or a decaf tea.

The weekend is nearly here so about 8pm is time for a movie at wine o’clock!

I strongly dislike drinking while watching films. Makes it difficult to follow and care for the story. Alcohol feels like a strong poisoning to me (and it makes my stomach turn).

I find weed much better in that regard, as it doesn’t numb the mind to the point where following the film becomes difficult, and I generally find it makes media feel/sound more interesting (be it music, films or video games).

But to each their own.

I share a similar sentiment AWT, I’d rather be focused when watching something. The exception would be if I was watching a trashy movie with some friends at home. Although my main reason is that I pee a lot when I drink anything alcoholic, and don’t want to miss any of the movie :joy:
