Caught this on YouTube tonight - great quality. Lovely production value and some great dialogue. Really well made SW that took itself serious. Liked it a lot. The more SW’s I’m watching, the more I’m starting to appreciate those with good prod value and good dialogue.
All in all, 7.5/10. First half (like many have noted) was a blast and superior than the second half. The story was fine and easy enough to follow (surprising for me) but it did feel a little bloated and convoluted.
Cast was great, familiar faces all over the place including a beautiful role for Charles Southwood.
Didn’t love the final showdown, thought it was acceptable at best. But overall, started like a house on fire and was hoping to place it inside my top 10, but it petered out and became a top 20 instead. Still thoroughly enjoyable.
