Odio e il mio Dio is not lost at all. It can be streamed on German Prime Vidoe and will be relased by filmArt eventually, who have secured perpetual rights to it
Until recently, “Odio e il mio Dio” was even available free of charge for Prime members. I watched it in German and am still amazed that FilmArt has not managed to release this great spaghetti western on DVD/Blu-ray…
Ok, then, that’s a cut version. Maybe the German version, maybe not.
I assume Filmart wanted to release an uncut version on Blu, but it seems that will never happen.
I have a version with 104 min, Pal length most likely, would be then about 108 - 109 Min. The official uncut runtime could be 110 min, but as these Italian runtimes too often do not correspondent with the known versions which are supposed to be uncut, we don’t know for sure.
Ringo Gestapo’ya karsi is a Turkish western. The best source for the Turkish westerns that I’ve found is a book Fantastik Turk Sinemasi by Giovanni Scognamillo and Metin Demirhan (1999) I bought a copy at ABE Books. Filled with photos, lobby cards and color posters it covers all kinds of Turkish action films and is highly recommended.
