I think Matalo would be among the top few to claim that, based on its cinematography, editing and score.
Oh, and the outfits, and everyone’s favourite boomerangs.

I agree with @Dean about Matalo but think that Django Kill…If You Live, Shoot! has to definitely top my list. I would also give honorable mention to Corbucci’s The Specialists. To a lesser extent, I find Awkward Hands to have some weird elements as well.

I would add Blindman and Get Mean. Very weird.

I’ll go ahead and add Hate is my God. Lots of bizarre things going on in there. Probably my all time favourite film. Well, not really, but it’s pretty decent.

Mine too. If anyone’s a fan of exploitation or supernatural elements, Django Kill will scratch that itch.

Another really weird one, as far as I remember, Roy Colt and Winchester Jack.

Is that one actually that weird?

Definitely Get Mean. Matalo and Django Kill are surely weird, but Get Mean is so over-the-top it just has to take the top spot.

Umberto Lenzis “Una Pistola per Cento Bare” with Peter Lee Lawrence and John Ireland is for me a weird confusing western. That movie has a part that wanders of from the main plot and changes the theme from a typical revenge story into a crazy slasher movie. And after that scenario the movie is back on the main plot again. Which makes you wonder what the point was with that scene

Definitely ‘Django Kill’ and ‘Matalo’; although I prefer the first film by a clear mile, because it stars Tomas Milian ** at his most surreal, and it has an amazing Gothic/otherworldly atmosphere throughout…

‘Django Kill’, in particular, is outlandish to the tenth degree.

I nominate this effort as the weirdest and definitely one of the worst ‘Westerns’ …

‘Whiskey and Ghosts’ (1974)

I agree with most of the choices mentioned already, and I would rank Django Kill… If You Live, Shoot! and Matalo! as #1 and #2 respectively in the Weird category. Blindman is #3 just for how its structured alone.

I do have to disagree with @LankyGringo in Corbucci’s The Specialists belonging to the Weird category, I always saw it as more Off-Beat than Weird, but that’s just me.

One man’s weird is another man’s off-beat.

I have not seen any of these. Looking forward to seeing a more stranger side of the genre

It Can Be Done, Amigo is nothing as weird as the movies mentioned here, but I felt weird after watching it for some reason

Many spaghetti westerns have a weird element or two. One example that has quite a few of 'em is “Death Walks in Laredo”. The bizarre gun, kung-fu, Julius Caesar, a palace, magnetism…

Even Keoma is quite weird from many different points of view but I bet noone else except me will ever call it.

Yeah, it’s super-weird … I think it’s just accepted as we’ve got used to it’s oddness.

At The End Of The Rainbow is a bit odd, I must rewatch it soon.

Four Of The Apocalypse is pretty weird. Also Requiem For A Gringo has that spooky element.

The Price of Death is a bit odd too.
