yeah, that’s where I bought mine too. I’m waiting to see if they get it in next Tuesday. Did a little looking around today and it looks like a lot of online vendors are still offering pre-orders… I went to First Look’s website, and they don’t let you view their home entertainment titles without first obtaining a login/password from them, which you have to contac them to acquire? what’s that about?
Well i pre-ordered mine from Amazon quite some time ago. Still seems to be on for the 24th…so fingers crossed. Mind you…it’ll take at least 10 days, probably more to get to me!
Amazon is still listing tomorrow, but I checked Best Buy, which is the US retailer I bought the first from and its listing release date as 5/5/2009 also
Well, i got a mail from Amazon this morning saying they were trying to get the set and asking me to either cancel or confirm that i wanted to wait and keep the item on order, which i did. Not too worried at the moment…the last couple of times i had mails like this, the stuff got sent a couple of days later… But if it’s been put back to May then so be it…
Got mine recently. The picture quality varies from film to film, as does aspect ratio, but for the most part things are pretty good. All films are English dubbed.
Sorry to dig up an ancient thread, I assume this thread refers to this release:
Now, a review on Amazon (UK) states that (and I quote) “The dvds seem to be region 0 (all regions) rather than region 1”, but everything else I’ve seen on it suggests that it’s region 1. Now, I CAN take region 1 DVDs but I’d rather not. I’d rather have as few as possible. So I’m wondering if any of you fellows actually own this thing and if you can verify, definitively, if these are region 1 or region 0 discs? Cheers! xxx
