Quentin Tarantino fans

Youre telling me, I tried to see the midnight premiere of Watchmen with my 19 yr old brother and was still denied entrance…I had to say this 22 yr old was my cousin…

Its getting ridiculously strict to me since I rarely meet parents who give a damn…

I’m still gonna watch Inglourious Basterds opening Night anyway…

follow closely (for Inglourious Basterds news, updates, etc):

I would love to see a new Morricone score in a Tarantino film. Maybe Quentin will plan ahead better with his next film and we can see this happen.

ok my review is now up at http://www.tarantino.info

Inglourious Basterds opens this weekend, go to the movies, get a dose of Morricone!

Will watch it tonight! Hopefully it will be any good but QT never dissapointed me so far. 8) Morricone made the soundtrack ???

If seb doesn’t know it, who else?

I’ll go to Italy tomorrow, so QT has to wait…

I wish I could see it in cinemas…

By the way, have a great time in Italy Dillinger!

Are you going by Car? Hopefully you’ll have nice holidays and please send some greetings to belle raggazze.

I saw it today. They announced last year Morricone wasn’t doing the score, though some of his tracks were used (The Big Gundown, God Forgives I Don’t (not Morricone, I know), Death Rides a Horse, The Mercenary (again), Battle of Algiers, Revolver), strange hearing them in a different film. I don’t think they work as well here as in the original films… but it’s still fine.

The film has a SW feeling at times… long tense build ups to quick violent action. Overall I liked it a lot, very well written I thought.

Wow. IMO his best movie since Pulp Fiction.
It’s fascinating that he could direct it with three different languages (French, English and German). To be precisely Italian is No. 4.

I wished I would have heard some lesser known SW Music but it works. 8)

Just saw it last night and great fun that was…it was so moving to hear La Resa Dei Conti music done so well…On a side that is the most violent film of all time…

Anyone seen the Tarantino version and Castellari version ? What version do you prefer ?

Tarantino version all the way…

The title is the only thing similar to the original in Tarantino’s film.

Wonder what Castellari thought about it?

he loves it, he’s in the film, also. met him on the set

Come on, if it was then it wouldn’t be shown in cinemas :stuck_out_tongue:

Theres not a whole lot of it…but when its there, I have never seen it more realistic…
So sure it isn’t the moist violent film of all time, but probably the most graphic…
