Your own western

I saw on Shobary site a interesting ideia.
If had the chance to join actor (one anti-hero, a villian, a female) with one director, and a compositor:

Mine would be:

Anti-hero: Mike Marshall
Villian: Max Phipps
Female: Miou Miou

Director: Mario Caiano

Compositor: Bacalov

And yours ?

(Bill san Antonio) #2

Heroes: Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach
Villain: Lee van Cleef

Composer: Ennio Morricone

Director: Demofilo Fidani LOL
Heroes: Clint Eastwood, Eli Wallach
Villain: Lee van Cleef

Composer: Ennio Morricone

Director: Demofilo Fidani LOL :D
That would be fascinating! We could see if he would be able to make a terrible movie with such a cast and composer :stuck_out_tongue:

(Bad Lieutenant) #4

I don’t see the point, but what the hell:

Anti Hero: Chip Corman
Female: Simonetta Vitelli
Villain: Horst Frank
Composer: Lallo Gori
Director: Enzo G. Castellari

(Pacificador) #5

Hero: Lee Van Cleef ;D
Villain: Gian Maria Volonte
Female: Nicoletta Machiavelli

Composer: Ennio Morricone
Director: Clint Eastwood (why not!!!)

(alk0) #6

Heroes: Lee Van Cleef, Tomas Milian
Villain: Luciano Rossi
Female: Nicoletta Machiavelli
Composer: Ennio Morricone
Director: Tonino Valerii

(flynnparadox) #7

Anti Hero: Woody Strode
Female (and also a badass anti-hero): Iris Berben
Villain: Franco Nero
Director: Sergio Corbucci
Composer: I’ll go with Ennio…

(seanmallory) #8

Franco Nero as a villain? ;D Sounds interesting!

Mine:

Mexican Bandit (this time a good guy): Gian Maria Volonté
Gringo Killer: Lee Van Cleef
Villain (mexican officer): Emilio Fernández
Woman (GMV’s mistress, a traitor): Vonetta McGee

Of course it would be a Zapata Western. GMV is a Revolutionar, LVC is paid by Emilio to kill him, but he doesn’t. He sympathizes with the Revolution. End: massacre. ;D (LVC with a machine gun…)

Director: Sergio Corbucci

Composer: Morricone

other idea:

Volonté and Milian together. (Why not?)

Volonté: a bandit (what else), who became amnesty and now he’s free. He is hunted by his rivals…
Milian: Mexican peasant… (what else ;D)
They meet… became friends… rob banks… the usual SW situation.

Main villain: Jack Palance as an evil, psychopath Sheriff who wants the two friends dead… (I think it would be a nice performance…)

At the end: only Tomas would stay alive. (But before it, a great battle and duel.)

I think we would need Leone for this. And Tonino Delli Colli of course… and Morricone.

Lee Van Cleef, Anthony Steffen and Eduardo Fajardo would star and would be directed by Sergio Corbucci.

Heroes: Franco Nero, Clint Eastwood and Klaus Kinski

Villains: Jack Palance, Tomas Milian and John Steiner

Girls: Miou Miou, Claudia Cardinale

Director: Sam Peckinpah

Composer: Guido & Maurizio De Angelis

(korano) #20

Director: Ennio Mrricone
Writter: Dario Argento, Fernando Lamas, Nick Cave, Ennio Morricone
Stunts: Yakima Cannutt
Starring: Warren Oates, Maurizio Merli, Robert Hossein, Woody Strode, Lee Van Cleef, James Garner, James Coburn
Music: Andre Hossein, De Angelis Brothers, Ennio Morricone

Musicians tell stories and Nick Cave showed that someone with absolutley no scriptwritting experience can create a great western. Ennio Morricone’s music is great and fits with the movie’s its in and I think he could make a movie the same way he makes music. I wouldn’t think there would be a lot of dialogue and probably very similar to Leone but I wiuld definetly enjoy seeing Morricone direct a western.
