I did that a couple of days ago and much preferred Payment in Blood, even though it wasn’t that great
I watched Double Target from Bruno Mattei. Trashy commando/jungle action, not very good, used forward quite a lot…
Next in line is Apocalypse Mercenaries.
re watching one of my favourite films tonight " the ninth configuration" ;D
I remember liking this one.
Rocky Balboa
I enjoy rocky movies, this one is enjoyable as well. Not the best film but overall good, predicatable but they all are. So its nice, but the fight is a bit ridiculous, again like in all the movies.
The Outriders (1950) A decent western with Joel McCrea.
Watched L’America Roma
http://www.spaghetti-western.net/index.php/America_a_Roma%2C_L’
Not really what I expected, kinda strange but amusing documentary. I like the way it’s done from the supporting actors/stuntmans point of view.
Possibly[b]A Pistol for Ringo[b] tonnight. After I’m finished with [b]Apocalypse Joe[b].(Fucking hilarious movie. Love it! Anthony Steffen dressed up like an old man! Priceless.)
Honor Among Thieves (1968) has been viewed.
Alain Delon is hired to put some bonds back into a company safe, but only has part of the combination of the safe. His old army buddy Charles Bronson also appears on the scene to make matters even more complicated. The job is not what it appears though and not long before the plot starts to get a bit more involved.
I enjoyed the robbery scenes the most, but the film does have some good tense moments and stars work well together.
The Darjeeling Limited with Adrien Brody and Owen Wilson. Off-beat little film about three at-odds brothers on a supposed spiritual trip through India. Enjoyed it.
"The Ruthless Four " tonight.
Killers are our guests
-nice giallo/crime film. Anthony Steffen is pretty good in the lead role.
" i want him dead" tonight.
Burn after Reading. Another excellent Movie by the Coen Brothers. Had some fun during watching it.
Watched Sister of Ursula which was a pretty nice giallo. Lots of bare skin in this one and with a ‘classic’ giallo killer and a pretty impressive murder weapon :)…
Version watched: DVD from Severin which was in fine quality with Italian dub and English subtitles. Release aswell as movie recommended.
Also sat through Demofilo Fidani’s Karzan: Jungle Lord which is a rip-off of, well, you take a guess. Not an original thought in this one but pretty entertaining all way through nonetheless. At one moment one of the characters has a fight for his life with one of the smallest pythons I’ve ever seen. Hilarious The soundtrack (or part of it anyway) by Coriolano Gori was obviously borrowed from a spaghetti western. Forget which one but probably a Fidani.
Version watched: DVD from Retromedia in barely acceptable quality but in OAR. Is a double feature with Luana on the other side. Again recommended.
I rented the following from my videostore.
Acquasanta Joe
Finders Killers (thats right)
Texas, Adios
Vengeance
You read right. I have the guts to rent Finders Killers. To be either pleasantly surprised or truly repulsed. I’ll keep the pills handy.

As others have said, you have a great video store. Finders Killer is so bad it’s good. IMO
Have fun. I can’t wait to hear what you think.
I am waiting patiently so far but I’ll skim through it in a few hours.
@Romaine:
Could you believe I was actually considering On the Third Day Arrived the Crow for my monthly four! All until I saw a clip show ofit on youtube. Looks pretty bad. That girl bouncing on the bed and the weird saloon fistfight. Why did Crea add the stupid/ugly girl to the two men? Girls, if they are not handled properly, can ruin Spaghetti Western viewings.
The two men are ugly and stupid too. And asking why Crea did ANYTHING is almost beside the point.
Even if you don’t ask for it, I know what you’re getting next time…Heehee
The Executors (aka The Sicilian Cross ) has been viewed.
Stacy Keech and Roger Moore take on a job to find some drug smugglers for the mafia who have shipped some dugs in a Sicilian Cross.
I like the stars and Keech did some interesting stuff in the 70’s and Moore is Moore. Cracking car chase in this Italian crime film, and film is not bad on the whole. Nice flashbacks going on in the film. Best scene for me is when Keech is taking Peter Martell for a test drive ;D. Moore uses a saying a fellow forum member uses on occasion…its a ‘goodie’ :D.
