What are you eating or drinking at the moment?

I baked some chicken wings to have while watching the hockey game. Twas good. Too bad my team lost :-\

Chicago?

Boston  I like Vancouver too so later last night it was great to see them win the series.

Just finished lunch of perogies on top of red cabbage, a few carrot sticks, and a bottle of water.

Roast Beef with all the trimmings, washed down with a cool one .

soup with beans and juise orange

I made my next batch (yesterday) and have just tried one.
It’s been improved by the greater fat content that you recommended, and by fine tuning my spices and herbs. I put mace (ground nutmeg shell) in the previous batch, but I’ve doubled the amount this time. Thyme is also in there, finely chopped, along with sage leaves (these all came fresh of a mate’s allotment, along with a small amount of rosemary and my secret ingredient (don’t tell anybody) of lemon balm leaves. And pepper and salt, of course.
I didn’t boil up a pig’s trotter :-[ - but opted for pork gelatin soluble leaves which I’ve flavoured with the balm as well.
I’ve also got my crust thinner and completely hand-raised 'em (I knew Potterey O Level would come in handy).
… And you know? - I’m pretty pleased with 'em. They look pretty rustic but they’re the real deal. Now I need to see if it’s my name that goes on the inaugural trophy tonight! 8)

Good luck Rev! They sound delicious.

Humble pie for me

They were delicious Phil… however…

…some say that coming second is acceptable - a piddling 2 points behind the winner - who’s pie, I might add was made in a mould and not ā€˜hand-raised’!!! :o
And I was doing so well with the therapy as well, what with the cooking and the ukulele practice.
But - it’s back to the big bottles of cheap cider and the ā€˜saving’ of sinners under the bridges down the canal for me now.

My own marinated pork tenderloin souvlaki pita sandwiches with my homemade tzatziki sauce and lots of veggies.

fish and potatos

A shot of Jack Daniels…

orange juise

a butterfinger and some cheerwine

Nice cool beer.

Just finished coffee, going over to Sangria (a soft spanish wine)!

Doc Simmi

Coffee, preparing to have my quinoa and vegetable egg scramble which will be followed up with a banana.

Am I a health nut or what??!?!?!

A nice cold glass of Lucozade with ice.

Small glass of tomato juice with a bit of hot sauce and pepper mixed in…no vodka for me though :-\
