VOTE For TOP 10 Spaghetti Westerns ACTRESSES

She was in only one Spaghetti Western, but Lynn Redgrave was one of the best things about Viva la muerte… tua! She was smart, confident, endearing, wily, sexy, and badass.

Also, Gia Sandri is really cool looking.

Seems you had a poll back in 2008/2009. What was the outcome?

I doubt there was one, since this thread looks like a total mess to me. But, as you probably know, there is a SWDb Hall of Fame for Leading Actresses page. Maybe we should start a new poll: ten favorite Spaghetti Western actresses, results updated once a month.

I went through the whole thread today. Only seven members compiled a list of at least ten actresses.

So, should we continue with the poll?

I think there might have been a poll. A lot of the Forum threads used to have polls, however they were lost with the new layout. Maybe this one had one as well? I don’t know, but people contributing to this extreemly interesting thread in those years will know…

Sure, like many other threads this one originally included a poll.

I don’t think this one had one but SD was famous for his polls like “what’s your favorite tv-series”, pick 10 out of 200. And then he voted on these himself with his multiple fake accounts.

Personally I created four polls, all lost: 1966 SW villains you like best, Who is the best among Italian minor leads?, Anthony Ghidra SW filmography and the one on The Four Who Came to Kill Sartana rating.

To deviate a bit, I was looking at SW actresses in the lead role (or joint lead role) and came up with the following, in order of best movie/performance:

  1. Claudia Cardinale (Once upon a time…)
  2. Michele Mercier (Cemetery without crosses)
  3. Raquel Welch (Hannie Caulder)
  4. Brigitte Bardot (Viva Maria)
  5. Susan George (Sonny and Jed)
  6. Raquel Welch (100 Rifles)
  7. Brigitte Bardot / Claudia Cardinale (Frenchie King)
  8. Elsa Martinelli (Belle Star)
  9. Brigitte Bardot (Shalako)
  10. Lola Falana (Lola colt)
  11. Rita Pavone (Little Rita…)
  12. Nicoletta Machiavelli (Garter Colt)

Unfortunately, there were not many actresses in a SW lead role and some of the movies/performances were lower quality.

Hannie Caulder, 100 Rifles and Shalako aren’t spaghetti westerns though.

You are correct - these are British/Hollywood movies - I just go by the movies that are listed on this website.
I guess 2 of them are euro westerns.
