Top non-(Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, Henry Fonda)-spaghetti-westerns

OK El Davido i would place Franco Nero as the third biggest star as the genre so I will come up with a list that doesn’t include him.

In no particular order:
Face to Face
The Great Silence
Django Prepare a Coffin
Hannie Caulder
A Minute to pray, A Second to Die
A Bullet for the General
Johnny Oro
Apocalypse Joe
Run Man Run
7 Dollars on the Red
Price of Power
Between God, the Devil and a Winchester
Roy Colt and Winchester Jack
The Man from Nowhere
A pistol for Ringo
If you meet Sartana pray for your death
My Name is Trinity
Django the Bastard
Cemetery without crosses
Kill and pray.

Mine would look like this

Django
The Great Silence
The Ugly Ones
Bandidos
The Dirty Outlaws

I don’t think I have seen Bandidos I know I’ve seen the Dirty Outlaws but I just can’t remember it. I think I am mixing ( what I do remember) it up with Pistoleros.

I didn’t like TDO on my first viewing but it grew a lot on me in the second viewing. Dark, muddy, grim and violent with a fantastic Gianni Ferrio score, which is a big factor for me when it comes to this one. A hauntingly nice melody but also some really cool experimental sounds like synths (?) with tremolo effects that reminds me of Sunn0))) (the sounds around 1:10 The Dirty Outlaws (1967) - US Trailer - YouTube).

Similar effects in the opening score (also Ferrio) of A Bullet for Sandoval. Man what an amazing opening it is!

It reminds me of Django setting. The music is major factor when it comes to spags. Setting, Music and actors top three factors for me.

Cemetery Without Crosses
The Great Silence
Keoma
The Hellbenders
Texas Adios
Massacre Time
Django
Death Sentence
California
Ace High
Mannaja A Man Called Blade
$10,000 Blood Money

probably a bunch that I’m forgetting

Ace High is such fun. It proved to me Eli Wallach’s star quality, that he could carry his own movie.
Mannaja is a movie I need to revisit.

I have just won the German 2 disc edition of My Name is Nobody. I like it that SW are given the proper respect and appreciation by someone in the entertainment world now.

Updated list of my SW Top 25 non-Clint Eastwood, non-Lee Van Cleef, non Henry Fonda.

This list is compiled after having watched around 55 bought such defined SW and around 15 on Youtube the last 2 years.
Most bought are carefully chosen after reading comments, reviews etc so the bought 55 taken together were not expected to be just average.
